Friends of St Mary's (FOSM)

Who ARE THE FRIENDS OF ST MARY’S

The Friends of St Mary’s School Knaresborough (FOSM) is a registered charity which organises events to raise funds for St Mary’s School. These funds help the students of St Mary’s School by providing additional resources for curriculum enrichment and social activities. The Friends of St Mary’s is run by a voluntary committee of trustees governed by a constitution (LINK). All parents/carers and guardians and staff are automatic members, but alumni, grandparents or anyone else willing to support the objects of the FOSM can apply to become a member. Members receive a weekly newsletter, can stand as Trustees and have the right to vote at general meetings of the Charity.

Volunteer for the COMMITTEE, for an EVENT, make suggestions, have ideas.

No time to attend events or meetings?

No worries, do you have the SKILLS to design a poster, wrap presents, manage the social media pages, take photos. Or do you have a BUSINESS? Could you donate prizes for raffles or sponsor the Christmas Fair. Let us know what ideas you have and how you want to help ‘‘Make School a Community’’ for all our children.

All parents of children in school have automatic membership of the Friends of St Mary's.

Charity eats

FOSM has now partnered with Charity Eats who will donate 10% of your food order value to us for FREE every time you order a takeaway using the Charity Eats App or Website (https://www.charityeats.co.uk/). Any donations will really help us and it’s completely FREE for us to receive donations!!

You can download the Charity Eats App for free from the App Store or Google Play Store and start ordering your favourite food with extra goodness!

Simply click on the Charity Eats App or Website (https://www.charityeats.co.uk/), choose your eatery, place your order and then choose Friends of St Mary's (FOSM) from the list of charities that you wish to support.
New eateries are being added as time goes on so even if there's nothing that takes your fancy this time, please keep checking.
